Our Mission

Bringing awareness to the devastation caused by impaired driving to help save lives.

Our Vision is to provide assistance to those who have lost someone to the senseless act of impaired driving with services such as counseling and scholarships.  Also, providing funds to help Tennessee law enforcement agencies with the training required to combat drivers who choose to drive impaired.

June 18, 2020, Destin Legieza died tragically after being involved in a violent crash on Franklin Road in Brentwood, Tennessee.  The driver of the other vehicle had a blood alcohol content of .16%, double that of the legal .08% limit in Tennessee.

In March of 2022, after being convicted of  four charges, to include vehicular homicide by intoxication, the driver received an 8-year sentence, only having to serve 30% of that time in jail.

In August of 2021, the Destin Legieza Foundation, Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization, formed in hopes of bringing change and public awareness to a devastating and senseless act, of which there is no real consequence.
